Oddity! Insane Lady Gives Birth To Twins In Aba; Lynches One To Death

An insane young lady in her 20s on Sunday created a scene in Aba, the commercial nerve centre of Abia State, as she gave birth to a set of female twins on a heap of refuse dump along the road and stoned one of them to death.

African Examiner findings revealed that an unknown fellow impregnated the mentally challenged lady.

Our Correspondent gathered that she gave birth to the twins on top of a heavy heap of garbage near AGIP filling station, along the Alaoji, Ikot Ekpene road Aba, without assistance of any body.

It was further gathered that after the delivery, the insane girl, fell asleep and when one of the babies started crying, she woke up and used a sizeable stone she found within the place to hit her and the child died before policemen arrived the place for rescue.

Sensing that the life of the remaining baby could also be in danger, residents of the area alerted the police and the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) for Ogbor Hill Division, Mrs. Helen Nze, who led a team of policemen to the refuse dump.

The police however, collected the second baby and rushed to a private hospital, where she was properly cleaned and given medication. They also deposited the dead one in a morgue.

African Examiner reliably gathered that the Abia State Police Command may have concluded arrangements to hand over the second baby to the Welfare Department of Aba South Council Area of the state after the necessary documentations were perfected owing to the inherent dangers in distancing the baby from her mother.

The development caused heavy traffic in the area for several hours, as motorists and passersby were rushing to the scene to catch a glimpse.
