BALTIMORE, MD (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC Governors’ Forum, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has declared that there would be no automatic ticket for President Muhammadu Buhari to re-contest under the platform of the party.
The Imo State Governor said Thursday that all candidates willing to contest under the APC would emerge through a democratic process that will be transparent and acceptable to all.
Okorocha’s declaration corroborated the stance of the APC National Leaders in their meeting with President Buhari Monday, where they deferred their endorsement for the President’s re-election.
