Nigeria’s Super Falcons Beat Cameroon to Win 8th African Title

Desire Oparanozie scored the only goal of the match played on Saturday at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Omnisports Stadium in Yaoundé.
It was the third time after that Nigeria would beat Cameroon in the final and it further cements the Super Falcons’ dominance in women’s football.
Super Falcons previous triumphs were in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2010 and 2014.
