Nigeria’s Security Service Foils Plan to abduct Yar’Adua’s Daughter

The State Security Services has paraded two suspects, Lawrence Dennis and Hamza Abubakar for attempting to kidnap the daughter of late President Umar Musa Yar’Dua at a construction site in Kado area of FCT.
The suspects, with the help of a guard in the construction site got information about the lady, collaborated with four other armed robbers and planned to kidnap and detain the lady in Zuba at the residence of an acquaintance to Dennis.
The Deputy Director of State Security Service (SSS) Marylin Ogar who briefed the press in Abuja, said the service through its actionable intelligence nullified the plot before it was actualized and added that Hamza, Dennis and other collaborators will be charged to court soon.
Similarly, the service paraded one Nicolas Eze for educational certificate forgery, Indian Visas, Nigerian International passports and fraudulent mobilisation of fake coppers for the NYSC programme.
The syndicate who confessed to have mobilized about thirty fake NYSC members using forged certificates and NYSC call up numbers said he is working with one Abdulwasiu Ogunjini to forge and facilitate the mobilisation of the fake coppers in various parts of the country.
