Nigerian Military Jet Missing 48 Hours After Take Off in Adamawa


The Nigerian Military has declared that a Nigerian Air Force jet was missing after two days of take off, in Adamawa, North Eastern and one of the states terrorized by the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents.

The Military Spokesperson, Chris Olukolade in a statement Sunday, said since the Alpha jet which was designed and manufactured in 70’s in France as a training and tactical support aircraft took off last Friday, was till now, no where to be found.

Olukolade explained that the Jet, with two pilots left its Yola base on the fateful day, on a routine operational mission around 10:45 am, adding, that ordinarily, was expected to return about 15 minutes later, but till moment was still missing.

The Spokesperson indicated that search and rescue teams have been trying to track the location of the plane and contacting its crewmembers.
