“Jonathan not Disturbed By Free Our Girls Crusade”
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Wednesday, July 23rd, 2014President Goodluck Jonathan and his administration are not any way intimidated by the persistent Bring#BackOurBackGirls Campaign and rallies going on indifferent parts of the country.
This confirmation was made on Wednesday in Lagos by the Director General, National Information Centre (NIC), Mr. Mike Omeri in a Television (Channels) Programme monitored by African Examiner.
Omeri posited during the interview that the messages of the free our girls activists was not directed at Mr. President, rather the insurgents who held the Chibok Secondary School girls hostage almost three months ago in the Shambisha bush, Borno State, North Eastern Nigeria.
He maintained that the President was never perturbed and it would be wrong and irrational for anyone to conclude in this direction with respect to the activities of the crusaders across the country.
He contended that since the insurgents were the ones holding over 200 girls, the onus to return them falls on Boko Haram members and not the President as being advocated, declaring that no one could give what he did not have.
On the outcome of investigations on the sponsors of dreaded Boko Haram Militants, Omeri revealed that the exercise has concluded and the Federal Government would publish their names at the appropriate time.
