Nasarawa Youths Group Drums Support for Incumbent Governor Al –Makura On Re-Election Bid

Irrespective of the mounted political tension in the state, a youth group under the aegis of Political Mobilization Awareness Committee (PMAC), in Nasarawa has endorsed re-election of the incumbent Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, in the 2015 state’s gubernatorial poll.

The group in a press statement signed by its leader, Yusuf Abari and made available to African Examiner on Friday, said: “We are out to mobilize support for the governor to run for 2015 because of his track records and achievement”.

The group identified the Governor’s achievements on healthcare delivery, education, youths empowerment, agriculture and women development programmes as some of the critical areas where the Al-Makura’s administration has impacted on the people.

PMAC appealed to the citizenry to remain supportive of the administration.
