NAN Editor Loses Mum


An Assistant Editor in Chief with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Alhaji Abdur-Rahman Balogun, has lost his mum, Alhaja Risikat Ajoke Balogun.

Late Mrs Balogun passed on at the age of 80, last Friday in her son’s residence in Ibadan and has since been buried according to Islamic tenet last Saturday in Lagos.

In a statement issued by the eldest son, Alhaji Abdur-Rahman, the eight day Fidau prayers is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, in Alapere, a Lagos suburb.

Alhaja Balogun, was born in Oko Olomi in Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State in 1935. She was survived by six children, among whom is Abdur-Rahman.
