N840 Million Campaign Fund: EFCC Obtains Order To Hold Fani-Kayode

ABUJA, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has obtained a remand order to to hold in its custody, ex-Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode.
The order granted the anti-graft agency is to last two weeks and renewable, if the ongoing investigation of the opposition PDP Chieftain warrants such.
Fani-Kayode was the Director of Media and Publicity, Jonathan/Sambo Campaign Organization and he is being investigated on issues bothering on his collection of the sum of N840 Million from the Director of Finance of the immediate past President campaign body in 2015.
It would be recalled that the former Minister whose arrest has been speculated repeatedly, announced his summon by the EFCC last Friday and indicated his interest on his Facebook account, to honour the invitation slated for Monday, May 9, 2016 by 10am.
