My Husband Is Running Govt Of Integrity, Unity, Love, Says Aisha Buhari

Nigeria’s first Lady, and wife of the President, Aisha Buhari on Thursday in Enugu said that her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari is running “a government of love, integrity and unity.

Mrs. Buhari, who spoke while flagging-off the free health screening initiative for women, her pet project, at the Queens Schools, Enugu, told the women that, “you are in safe hands.” under the present federal government.

The first lady, who was accompanied on the visit by wife of the vice president, Mrs. Osinbajo, that of Speaker of the House of Representatives as well as wives of many State Governors, stressed that the health programme would be fully implemented with the support of governors’ wives.

Her words: “I am glad that we are gathered here with governors wives for this programme, it is voluntary with health agencies rendering free health care services.

“If you help the less privileged ones, God will help you. This government is a government of unity”, she stated.

Welcoming the guest earlier, wife of Enugu state Governor, Mrs. Monica Ugwuanyi, had thanked the first lady for extending the project to the state.

She however, assured that it would be replicated in all the 17 local government areas of the state

Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, was on hand to receive the Nigeria’s first lady at the venue of the event.
