Muslim Professionals Present Agenda To Buhari’s Administration
Latest Headlines, News Friday, June 12th, 2015An Association of Muslim men in Business and Profession, The Companion is adding its voice to the widely anticipated New Nigeria debate, especially as the country just transited to a new democratic administration.
Further to this, the group for the second time, is holding a National Discourse this weekend with the theme: “2015 General Elections: Setting Agenda For the New Government”.
In a statement issued Friday in Lagos by the group’s National President, Barrister Musbau and sent to AFRICAN EXAMINER, Oyefso, the discourse topic is to be delivered by an erudite academia, Professor Abubakar Momoh, who is presently the Director General, The Electoral Institute. Also on hand to deliver the keynote addresses are the Lagos based Human Right Activist and Constitutional Lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN) and Comrade Isaa Aremu.
Similarly, the theme of Discourse to hold this Sunday, June 14, 2014 (Shaban 25, 1436AH) inside the main auditorium of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) is expected to be discussed by a former Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment, Dr. Muiz Banire; Mr. Wahab Shittu and Comrade Abiodun Aremu. Chairman of the event is Mr Fola Adeola.
It would be recalled the former FCT Minister and incumbent Kaduna State Executive Governor, Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai delivered the theme: Corruption and the Challenge of Good Governance“ of the maiden edition of the organization’s National Discourse, held Sunday, June 22, 2014 in Lagos.
