MTN N780 Billion Fine ‘Row’ Over Soon; Plans Change Of Executive
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Wednesday, April 13th, 2016Hope of a successful resolution of its N780 billion with the country beckons, as the Executive Chairman of South African telecommunication multinational, MTN Nigeria Mr. Phutuma Nhleko is likely to exit his position.
Nhleko assumed his present role on November 9, 2015 following the resignation of Sifiso Dabengwa as the MTN Group President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
He was appointed in order to negotiate the protracted fine with the Nigerian authorities, a situation which was speculated to result to Dabengwa’s resignation.
Sources within the Multinational have indicated that three candidates have been shortlisted for Nigeria new CEO position.
