Military Arrests Boko Haram Cameramen
Featured, Latest Headlines Monday, December 8th, 2014From Ganiyu Nasirudeen – The Director of Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade has confirmed that Military persistent onslaught against and arrest of some insurgents in the North Eastern States of Nigeria.
Major Olukolade confirmed that four Boko Haram militants were arrested as they attempted to escape in an SUV jeep with digital camera and weapons, adding that they were currently in one of the Military barracks for investigations, which is underway.
The Defence Spokesperson indicated that the arrests so far, were made during patrols, surveillance and raid operations to track fleeing terrorists in communities around Adamawa, one of the States under the terrorist’s siege.
He pointed out that most of the arrest in the recent times included professional cameramen, who specialize in video recording and coverage of the group’s invasions of the victim communities.
