Militants’ Warlord, Charles Okah Escapes From Prison

ABUJA, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Niger Delta Militants’ warlord Charles Okah has reportedly escaped from prison due to jail break which occurred late Friday at Kuje Prisons, Abuja.
Okah who is being held at the Prisons, has been facing terrorism trial for allegedly masterminding bomb attack, allegedly targeted at former President Goodluck Jonathan, during October 1, 2010 Nigeria’s Independent anniversary, at Eagle Square, FCT Abuja.
The suspect was said to have escaped with other inmates and now at large.
However, authorities of the Nigerian Prisons Service (NPS) have faulted the report. Its Spokesman Francis Enobore, who spoke with an online newspaper PREMIUM TIMES Saturday confirmed Okah was at Kuje prisons “hale and hearty”
NPS Publicist yet confirmed jail break incident, despite the denial.
