Many Killed, Injured in Another Bomb Attack in Borno
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Sunday, December 11th, 2016MAIDUGURI, BORNO, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Less than 48 hours after Madagali, Adamawa sad incident, three people Sunday morning were feared dead, while some injured, in another twin bomb explosions which occurred in a crowded area closed to Maiduguri’s, the Borno State capital main market.
The eruption according to Premium Times, occured in a quick succession, around 8:48 a.m.
The State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Mr. Victor Isuku, has since confirmed the development.
Isuku version of the explosion indicated that the attack took place near old NEPA office near Monday market.
The latest attacks (Adamawa and Borno) happened hours when the Nigerian Army opened three major roads that lead to Borno State, as well as declared that the Boko Haram terrorists have been largely defeated.
