Lampard Completes New York City Move after 13 Years Chelsea Career

The 36-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year-deal with Manchester City’s expansion franchise and will begin in 2015
He was officially unveiled as a NYCFC player in a press conference in the Big Apple on Thursday afternoon.
Lampard joins Spanish striker David Villa who confirmed his own switch at the beginning of last month.
The midfielder made 648 appearances netting a record 211 goals in west London establishing himself as a legend of the club.
Confirming his exit last month he thanked the managers, teammates and fans during his wildly successful time at Stamford Bridge.
“All the managers and coaches who have helped me develop my game during the time I have been here. I have learnt from every one of them.
“All the brilliant team mates who I have been lucky enough to train and play alongside for so long. Not just their football qualities but also the friendships I have gained along the way.
