Lagos Police Confirms Abduction of Ambode’s Account Director

LAGOS, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the abduction by gunmen of Director of account in the office of the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, Mr. Thomas Otuyemi and his son.

The sad development occurred Saturday in Epe Local Council area of the State.

The State’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Dolapo Badmos, while confirming the incident indicated that the Police was trailing the kidnappers and assured that the missing Director would be rescued soon.

She added that the security operatives were currently searching the creeks, but declined to reveal the unit involved in the rescue exercise.
