Labour Party Begins Electioneering Campaign in Ekiti

The campaign train will on Saturday, March 29, 2014, move to Gbonyin and Ekiti East local governments, both in the southern senatorial district of the state.

In a statement in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday by Chief (Mrs) Bolanle Olatunde-Bruce, its Media and Publicity Secretary, she said the mega rally which promises to be grand, would afford the candidate of the party, Hon. Michael Opeyemi Bamidele (MOB) to unveil his manifesto for the Ekiti people. The party urged its members to conduct themselves in an orderly manner such that would make them continue to set the pace for other parties in the State.
Hon. Akin Omole, the state party chairman in his address, charged members of the party from the Ekiti North Senatorial District comprising Ido/Osi, Moba, Oye, Ikole and Ilejemeje local governments to troop out en masse to witness this epoch-making event.
