Kidnappers Abduct Woman and Her Two Children in Aba

Heavily armed kidnappers on Saturday wrecked havoc at Ohuru in Obingwa council Area of Abia State, as they abducted one Mrs. Ogochukwu and her two children (Chika and Favour).
Our Correspondent gathered that the kidnappers hijacked the Honda SUV vehicle the woman and her two children were traveling in at about 8:30pm and drove them to an undisclosed location.
However, unconfirmed report has it that the abductors later established communication with the victims’ family and demanded an undisclosed amount of money as ransom.
No member of the family could be reached for comments at press time.
When contacted, the Abia State Commissioner of Police Adamu Ibrahim, disclosed that the SUV was recovered Saturday morning by his men at Owerrinta in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area.
The CP, said efforts were already in top gear by the police to ensure that the woman and her children were released unharmed and without payment of any ransom by her family
