Kidnapped Wife of Rivers PDP Stalwart Found dead
Latest Headlines, News From The State, Politics Thursday, July 9th, 2015By IGNATIUS OKPARA, Port Harcourt – The recently kidnapped wife of a Rivers State Peoples Democratic Party chieftain, Mrs Ebire Ejor Ngowah Ejor, has been found dead.
Our Correspondent reports that the deceased was abducted on Sunday July 5, by some heavily armed hoodlums in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.
The remains the deceased was found in a village at Eagle Island on Tuesday.
Making this known to newsmen on Wednesday in Port Harcourt, the state Chairman of the PDP, Felix Obuah, berated those behind the unholy act.
He said the killing was unwarranted, barbaric and shocking to his party and family members, stressing that the abduction and subsequent killing of the deceased clearly show that the incident has a political undertone.
Obuah added that the body of Mrs. Ejor, was discovered in an interior village around Eagle Island in Port Harcourt.
The State PDP Chairman, therefore, appealed to security agencies to beef up security across the state, adding that those behind the killing be made to face the consequence.
