Presidency Furious, Removes German Radio State House Correspondent From Aso Rock
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Monday, May 11th, 2015By Ganiyu Nasirudeen – A State House Correspondent, Ubale Musa with a German Radio – Deutsche Welle, Monday, was banned from the Presidential Villa for asking the visiting Chadian President, Idris Deby questions, considered embarrassing to President Goodluck Jonathan.
Musa asked President Deby about the relationship between the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) and mercenaries said to be fighting and dislodging the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents Boko Haram from the North Eastern part of Nigeria.
Although, he was also asked, if still in the picture of the Boko Haram Miitants Leader, Abubakar Shekau, but replied he had no Knowledge and if he did, he would not disclose it.
On Musa’s question, President Deby, denied knowledge of the existence of any mercenary in the North East.
Following this, the international Radio Correspondent’s accreditation particulars were withdrawn; guided to retrieve his working gadgets from the Villa Press gallery and escorted out premises by the security operatives.
