Jonathan Signs Criminal Justice Bill Into Law
Latest Headlines, News Thursday, May 14th, 2015The Administration of Criminal Justice Bill has been assented to, by the outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan.
Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Mr. President, Dr. Reuben Abati, confirmed this Thursday in Abuja, while fielding questions from journalists.
It would be recalled the bill which among others is aimed at addressing the challenge of delay in criminal trials was passed by the Senate May 5, 2015.
While explaining, Dr. Abati informed journalists that President Jonathan signed the Bill into law yesterday, (Wednesday), the same day he received it from the National Assembly.
