Jonathan Returns to Nigeria
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Wednesday, June 1st, 2016After spending about four weeks abroad, Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday returned to Nigeria.
Jonathan reportedly spent 4 weeks in United Kingdom and Côte d’Ivoire fueling speculations that he was on exile following a probe launched against his cousin, believing to be fronting for him while in office, and his top aides by the current administration.
He, however, refuted the report saying he was not on exile.
Recall that while he was abroad, his former Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs, Dr Waripamowei Dudafa and cousin, Roberts Azibaola, were quizzed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over N10billion and $40million frauds.
His cousin, Roberts Azibaola is presently in EFCC detention.
African Examiner gathered that the ex-president arrived on Wednesday at Port Harcourt international airport and headed straight to his country home in Otueke, Bayelsa state.
