Jonathan Didn’t Win Imo Presidential Election -Okorocha
Latest Headlines, News, Nigeria 2015 Election Thursday, April 2nd, 2015The Chairman, opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors’ Forum, Owelle Rochas Okorochas has declared the party’s Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) did not lose in March 28, poll in Imo State, but was rigged out by some powerful politicians in the State’s PDP.
Okorocha made the declaration Thursday in Owerri, the Imo State capital at The Igbos Salute The President-Elect: GMB ceremony.
Enraged Okorocha indicated that in a desperate move by the politicians who perpetrated the “unholy” act, his Commissioner for Information was embarrassed and ordered to lie down for several hours, while his SA on Media was arrested and locked up.
Similarly, he alleged that so many young people were arrested in his local government area by the SSS and Police and locked up. He added that his efforts to seek their release failed to yield result.
Governor Okorocas who confessed that the plan of the PDP was to write 1.3 Million votes in favour of President Jonathan in the Presidential election, but failed to achieve the sinister plot, due to resistance by the APC members and supporters in the State.
He lamented that the worst thing the PDP had done to Ndigbo was failure to produce a single Senator under the APC, in the Saturday poll, hence missed the opportunity of clinching the Senate Presidency or House Speakership.
He therefore advocated for more Ndigbo prominent stakeholders to join him, Senator Chris Ngigie (who lost in his re-election contest) in Anambra central, Chief Ogbonaya Onu, so as to ensure the tribe has more representation in the incoming government as well as to avoid marginalization.
He strongly condemned the actions of some PDP Chieftains on the electoral frauds in all the South Eastern States, adding that their plan was to write 1.4 and 1.5 Million in Enugu and Anambra respectively for President Jonathan, but could not achieve that due to the efforts of the APC leaders in the zone .

Okorochas condemned former Minister of Niger Delta Development Commission, Elder Godsday Orubebe on his disgraceful conduct Tuesday, at the National Presidential Collation centre Abuja, but chose to exonerate Mr. President, who he claimed from his findings in Abuja, had no hand in the Imo Presidential electoral fraud.
He assured the APC members who lost in their contest would regain their stolen mandate when the new government is put in place.
