Jonathan Commiserates With Fashola On Oba Oyefusi’s Death
Latest Headlines, News Tuesday, August 5th, 2014President Goodluck Jonathan has commiserated with the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola and people of the State on the demise on Sunday, of the Paramount Ruler of Ikorodu, Oba Salaudeen Oyefusi.
The President in a press statement issued on Tuesday by his special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, extended condolences to the late Ayangburen’s family and his subjects – the people of Ikorodu.
While urging the family of the monarch who reigned for 43 years to be comforted by his “worthy legacies of grassroots development, modernization, peace and progress”, President Jonathan equally called on friends and subjects Oba Salaudeen glorify God for his long and very fulfilled live, a great part of which he stressed was devoted to wise and good leadership of his people.
