ISIS Insurgents Are Misguided Muslims – Scholar
Latest Headlines, News Monday, August 25th, 2014Members of the dreaded Nigerian Boko Haram and its Iraqi’s Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) have been described as enemies of Islam and negative representation of the faith.
A Muslim Scholar and Leader of The Companion, an (Association of Muslim men in Profession and Businesses), Alhaji Nojeem Jimoh made this declaration on his Facebook account Monday in response to yesterday alleged gruesome behead of an American journalist, James Foley by ISIS insurgents in Iraq.
“They (ISIS) murder Muslims (Sunni and Shi’ah alike) and non-Muslims in equal proportion. They murder women, children, the weak and vulnerable and anyone unfortunate enough to be in their path.
“Like their Boko Haram cousins in Nigeria, no decent Muslim can find any justifications for cruelty of this nature within the Deen (Islam) and we should not hesitate in the slightest to condemn their actions”, Nojeem stressed.
He therefore urged the Muslims especially those who are still “undecided” to place ISIS, that they were evil who represented nothing but “the devil”.
The gory video of Foley’s cruel killing filtered into the international news agency on Sunday. Agency reports state America and its British ally are still suspecting British-born rapper, Abdel Majed Abdel Bary to be responsible for the callous act.
