The PDP governorship candidate for August 9 Osun State gubernatorial election, Senator Iyiola Omisore has disclosed that he is rescue mission.
This was contained in statement signed by his Media Assistant, Diran Odeyemi.
The statement reads in part: “my programme for the state is development and prosperity that will leave no one behind in the state; I am going to carry everybody along. I want to assure my people that this era is coming to an end in four month’s time and we will all rejoice.
“We want to appreciate all those who stood by us since the electioneering process started. We appreciate you and as you can all see, your effort is not in vain. We urge you not to rest on your oars. The second part has started. The Mission to rescue Osun is on. Tell every Tom, Dick and Harry that IYI is on course. The imposter occupying Abere must be sent packing. August 9 is the ultimate. It is a done deal.”
The Apesin of the source emerged as PDP governorship candidate on April 5 primary election in Osogbo.
Omisore, former deputy governor of the state and 2-term senator who represented Osun East (Ife/Ijesha) Senatorial district from 2003-2011 will square up with incumbent governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola of APC and Fatai Akinbade, Labour party governorship candidate on August 9 to determine who occupy Abere government from November 2014.
