Gunmen Abducted Ebonyi Assembly Majority Leader, Hon Nwali

The crisis rocking the Ebonyi State House of Assembly got worsened on Thursday as the Majority Leader, Hon. Sam Nwali has been reportedly abducted by the unknown gunmen.

African Examiner Correspondent in Abakaliki, the state capital gathered that the legislator was kidnapped early this morning on Nna Street in the state capital when on his way to meet with co – lawmakers.

Hon. Nwali was reportedly ambushed by about four gunmen, abruptly stopped, dragged out of his car and put inside a waiting vehicle, while they drove to an unknown location.

Some Members of the Ebonyi House AE source indicated were already in the picture of the sad development.

The situation it was learnt might not be unconnected with the impeachment on Monday, of the former House Speaker, Hon. Chukwuma Nwazunku.

Also the state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Chris Anyanwu said the matter has been reported to the Commissioner.
