Governor Yuguda Condemns Azare Suicide Attack

Following last night’s bomb blast in Azare, the Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda has condemned in strong terms the bomb blast which claimed many lives while others were seriously injured.
The governor described the attack as an act of terror, which is most unfortunate just as he commended the courage of the youths, who came out to arrested one of the suspected suicide bombers.
In a press statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ishola
Michael Adeyemi, and made available to AFRICAN EXAMINER on Monday, he reassure that government will collaborate with security agents in the state to ensure that lives and properties were protected adding that the people too have complimentary roles in the fight against insurgency.
He called on the people to be vigilant particularly in areas where people are gathered for their legitimate duties as well as other social gatherings considering the fact that the act of insurgency has now taken a new dimension.
