Governor Nyako Fires 12 Aides Over Anti-Party Activities
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Friday, May 30th, 2014Gov. Murtala Nyako of Adamawa has sacked of five of his special advisers and seven principal special assistants.
The Secretary to the State Government, Mr Kobis Thimnu announced this in a statement made available to Journalists on Friday in Yola.
According to Thimnu, “Gov. Murtala Nyako has approved the withdrawal of the appointments of 12 political appointees with effect from May 21.
“While the government thanks you for the services you rendered, you are kindly requested to hand over government documents and properties in your custody to the appropriate authority.”
The sacked Special Advisers are Sanusi Jauro, Abdur-rahman Bobboi, Kelvin Peter, George Moses and Chubado Babbi.
While the affected principal special assistants include; Hadiza Kuto, Sadiq Haske, Danjuma H., Bello Njidda, Gidado Aliyu, Shehu Jacob and Usman Marafa.
African Examiner gathered that the affected aides were dropped for romance with PDP despite the fact that Governor Nyako dumped Peoples Democratic Party for All Progressives Congress early this year.
