Governor Dickson’s CPS Mum Goes Home On Nov 19
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Thursday, October 27th, 2016The funeral programme for Mrs. Oginasisi Markson Iworiso of Opume community in Ogbia Local Governmment Area of Bayelsa State, who answered the glorious home call on July 8 2016, has been released by the bereaved family.
A statement issued on Thursday by Daniel Iworiso-Markson, the Chief Press Secretary to governor Henry Seraike Dickson of Bayelsa State, on behalf of the family, said the funeral activities will begin with a service of songs on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Chief, DSP Alamieyeseigha Memorial Banquet Hall, Government House, Yenagoa.
Her remains will leave the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH), Port Harcourt in a motorcade to her hometown, Opume on November 18, 2016, where it will lie in state for family members and other sympathisers to pay their last respect, to be followed by an all-night Christian wake at her compound in Opume.
The funeral rites will be concluded on Saturday, November 19, with an open air commendation Service at the Comprehensive Secondary School, Opume playground to be followed immediately by interment at her family compound.
The spokesman for the family, Daniel Iworiso-Markson also used the opportunity to call on all friends and well-wishers to take note of the dates and join them in giving their Late matriarch a befitting burial.
