Governor Dickson Makes More Appointment As Former Finance Commissioner Becomes Chief Economic Adviser
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Tuesday, March 1st, 2016Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State has approved the appointment of Chief Duate Iyabi as his Chief Economic Adviser.
The appointment is with immediate effect.
Chief Iyabi, who served as Commissioner for Finance in the Governor’s first tenure is expected to be sworn in at the Executive Council Chambers of Government House, Yenagoa,noon on Tuesday, 1st of March, 2016.
Similarly, the Bayelsa State Governor has also approved the appointments of Chief Iboro Ige Idaba as Executive Secretary of the Bayelsa Physical Planning and Development Board and Surveyor Igo Assembly Goin as Managing Director of the Bayelsa State Geographical Information System (BGIS).
Mrs. Rebecca Rafi Suowari and Mr. Collins Ebiwari Ifidi were also appointed as Chairman and Secretary of the Bayelsa State Scholarship Board, pending the constitution the various boards.
Governor Dickson has equally appointed Dr. (Mrs.) Stella Peremoboere Ugolo and Mrs. Jim Bobs as Chairman and Secretary of the Directorate of Education Supervision and Policy Services.
All the appointments take immediate effect.
