Gov. Orji Wins 2013 Businessday Good Governance Awards in Health, Security

The award winning Governor of Abia State, Chief Theodore Orji, has added to his many laurels by winning this year’s Businessday Good Governance Awards in Healthcare Development and Security.
Abia State Deputy Governor, Sir Emeka Ananaba, who led other top government officials to the awards ceremony which took place at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, received the two awards on behalf of Governor Theodore Orji.
While receiving the Buinessday Good Governance Awards won by Abia as best state in Healthcare Development and best state with most Improved Security in the country, Sir Ananaba said “if you come to Abia you will sleep with your two eyes closed,” adding that “no other state in Nigeria should win the awards. If you come to Abia there is good health.”
The colourful award ceremony was graced by governors of Osun, Rivers, Gombe and many prominent Nigerians.
