Gov Ahmed Declares For Second Term, Promises More Developmental Projects

Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatai Ahmed has declared his intention to seek for second term in office.
Governor Ahmed made the declaration on Wednesday at Ilorin Metropolitan Arena, Ilorin the state capital.
According to him, “I am seeking second term as governor of Kwara state to continue the development of the state. During my ongoing tenure, our administration employed 10,200 people for Quickwin scheme, we have empowered about 48,000 SMEs owners.
“I want to continue the share prosperity agenda beyond 2015. I believe APC is the right platform”
Speaking earlier, Senator Bukola Saraki commended Gov Ahmed for his excellent performance during his first term in office.
Saraki expressed optimism that the people of kwara state will re-elect the governor come February 2015.
The Speaker, House of Representatives, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal who defected to APC last week said Saraki will deliver Kwara for APC with Saraki dynasty political structure.
The event attracted large crowd from across the state to show solidarity for Governor Abdulfatai Ahmed re-election bid under the platform of All Progressives Congress.
APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu, General Buhari (retd), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and some APC governors attended the rally.
