Fulani Herdsmen Attack: IG, top Police Chiefs Visit Affected Enugu Community

ENUGU, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The Inspector- General of police (IGP), Mr. Solomon Arase, has arrived the Akanu Ibiam international Airport, Enugu enroute to Nimbo community in Uzo Uwani council area of Enugu state which was attacked Monday by Fulani herdsmen.
AFRICAN EXAMINER Correspondent who was at the airport, observed that the police boss, is accompanied by top police officers from the force headquarters, Abuja.
The police jet that convened Arase and his entourage touched the airport tarmac Wednesday, at about few minutes past 10.00am
It would be recalled that no fewer than 40 people have been killed so far as a result of the early morning attack by the suspected fulani herdsmen.
