Frontline Journalist, Dimgba Igwe Dies in Lagos

Veteran and frontline journalist, Mr. Dimgba Igwe, is dead.
Igwe who until his death was the Vice Chairman of the Sun Newspaper was knocked down by a vehicle on Saturday around his Okota residence, a Lagos suburb, while doing morning jogging.
Aged 58, Igwe during the accident sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for medical attention. The late journalist however died after undergoing surgical operations in the hospital.
In the meantime, the Chief Executive of the Sun Publishing Limited and former Abia State Governor, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, has expressed shock over the death.
Igwe was a close associate of another frontline journalist, Mike Awoyinfa who together developed and started weekend newspaper with (Weekend Concord) in their days in the rested National Concord newspaper.
