Fresh Explosion Kills Scores In Borno

By Ayo Balogun – Tragedy struck late Tuesday in Monguno, Borno State, when a deadly explosion erupted from an abandoned bag, killing many, while several others were injured.
Sources revealed to our Correspondent that the bag believed to contain Improvised Explosives Devices (IEDs) exploded when found by some members of the State’s civilian JTF.
The items sources disclosed might have been deliberately abandoned by the suspected Boko Haram insurgents.
No official confirmation yet of the unfortunate incident as well as the causalities.
Many towns and villages in Borno and Yobe States have suffered from recent renewed terrorists attack. Among the affected are Maiduguri, the State capital, Damboa, Babangida (Yobe) among others.
