Four Roasted to Death in Enugu-Port Harcourt Express Way Auto Crash

ENUGU NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – A multiple ghastly auto crash which occurred along Enugu – Port Harcourt express way on Monday has claimed four persons who were burnt beyond recognition.
The victims were confirmed dead at the Federal Medical Center (FMC), Umuahia, Abia State, south- East Nigeria.
AFRICAN EXAMINER gathered that the fatal accident occurred along Ubakala axis of the express way.
Our Correspondent learnt that four vehicles were involved in the crash, which included a Toyota Hilux van marked CG 539RSH, a Peugeot J5 bus with registration No XA 874 AKW, and a Mercedes Benz tipper with registration no EGG 555 YG.
One of the victims, who gave his name as Abdulhamid Abubakar, blamed the mishap on over speeding by the Hilux van driver.
He explained that they were four in a Peugeot J5 bus travelling from Lafia, Nasarawa state to Aba, Abia state to sell bags of garden eggs and oranges.
Abubakar disclosed that he was in the Peugeot with three of his friends, namely, Husaini Tanko, Imamu Abubakar and Ibrahim Abubakar when the accident occurred.
