Fire Razes Lagos Tower Aluminum Complex
Latest Headlines, News Wednesday, September 10th, 2014Properties worth several millions of naira were destroyed on Wednesday as fire razes Tower Aluminum Complex in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.
The fire, which began in the evening is said to have started from the server room of the aluminum company, nearly affected a section of Zenith Bank behind the firm.
Staff of the company scampered to safety when the fire began as they were taken by surprise. Some factory workers in the premises also sustained degrees of injuries while scampering for safety.
Director, Lagos State Fire Services, Razak Fadipe stated that his men responded immediately they were called and were battling to put out the fire.
He added that the agency also battled fire cases at 90a Isale Eko lane; Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, saying they were on top of the situation.
