Fire Disaster Averted in Lagos as Fuel Truck Tumbles In Ketu Area

A fatal fire disaster was averted this morning in Ketu area, a Lagos suburb, as a truck loaded with kerosene fell on the road.
Eyewitness told African Examiner that the driver was trying to maneuver to avoid ongoing vehicle, but in the process, veered and fell on the congested and very busy six lane road.
Immediately after, residents were seen with different containers scooping kerosene which had overtaken the axis.
However, the arrival and intervention of the various security and fire service officials brought the rowdy situation under control. No causality was recorded in the accident which caused momentary traffic gridlock in the area.
