FG Constitutes National Conference 2014 Implementation Committee

The Federal government has constituted a seven man Presidential committee with the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adokie (SAN) as the Chairman to study the CONFAB report and consider manner of its implementation.
In a statement issued Friday by an Assistant Director, Press, in the office of the Secretary to the Federal Government, Oise Johnson, President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the committee with four major tasks before it.
The committee’s task according to the statement include: studying the 10,000 page report; articulate its recommendations as well as develop appropriate strategies for implementation and to advise government on all matters necessary for its effective implementation.
Membership of the committee expected to take off immediately include; the Secretary to the Federal Government, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim – member/Secretary to the committee; Minister of State for Finance, Ambassador Bashir Yuguda; Aviation Minister, Osita Chidoka;Transport Minister, Senator Idris Umar; Minister of state for FCT administration, Olajumoke Akinjide and Minister of Works, Architect Mike Onolemenmen as members.
