According to a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Idowu Adelusi, faulted the excuse given by the speaker for his action as lame excuse.

Hon Omirin had in a statement by his image maker, Wale Olujobi said the lawmakers would be going on one month recess to allow for possible change of guide by the personnel of the assembly.

Adelusi said the main reason why the Speaker has declared a one month recess was to frustrate the passage of 2015 budget by his colleagues so that the government would be handicapped and incapacitated from performing its statutory functions to the people of the state.

The governor image maker further accused Hon. Omirin of making a move to make the present government unpopular within the fold of lawmakers, urging Hon Omirin to purge himself of destructive tendencies and chart a new course.

He reminded Omirin that being a critical stake holder in the project of development of the state, that he (Omirin) should see himself as one of the leaders in the state who must see the development of the state as paramount in their heart   rather than pursuing parochial selfish interest.

Adelusi accused Omirin who he alleged was promised a position of acting governor in the failed judicial coup by his party of trying to avenge for his leaders.

He urged Omirin to swim with the tide of the moment by supporting the present administration to deliver the dividend of democracy to the teeming masses of the electorates who voted Fayose in as their governor in June 21 governorship election‎.
