Fashola, Religion Leaders Urged Nigerians to Work in Unison for Prosperity
Latest Headlines, News, News From The State, Politics Monday, July 28th, 2014Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State has urged Nigerians to work collectively to solve socio – economic and political challenges confronting the country.
Fashola who made the statement in his goodwill message after his Salaah prayer on Monday said the citizens needed to work together and support the government in her efforts to improve the quality of life of the citizenry as well as to sustain infrastructural development and transformation.
In an interview with the newsmen, the Chief Imam of the foremost Muslim Organization – Ansar –Ud – Deen Society of Nigeria, Sheikh Abdur Rahman Ahmad called for equity in the country.
Imam Ahmad stressed that lack of social justice, wide gap between the government and governed were the bane of security lapses presently unfolding in the Northern part of the country.
