Enugu Police Arrest Woman For Using Hot Electric Iron On House Help

Enugu state police command have arrested a 35 year old woman, identified as Nneka Ifeoze, from Nkwere in Imo state but resides in Enugu, for allegedly using a hot electric pressing Iron on her house help.
The inhuman act, according to the police, has thrown the victim, a 9 year old girl into severe pains,as she is now battling with serious injuries all over her body.
Ebere Amarizu, the state police public Relations officer, PPRO who disclosed this to AFRICAN EXAMINER in Enugu on sunday, said the suspect, presently resides at No 3 Ava Okocha street, mount area in Enugu South Local Government Area of Enugu.
He said the victim, whose name was given as Oluebube Orji, also of same Nkwere in Imo state, incurred her madam’s wrath “on saturday at about 8pm”
The incident he said happened when her madam came back home to discover that her two year old boy under the care of the house help was allegedly assaulted.
Apart from the assault claim, the suspect also alleged that Oluebube, ate the food meant for the 2 year old boy.
Angered by the alleged two offences, the woman plugged her pressing iron in an electrical switch, after heating, she unplugged it and used it on the little girl, “leaving her with series of injury on her body.
Shortly after the incident, some neighbours rushed the victim to an undisclosed nearby hospital for medical attention.
