Enugu LGA Polls: APGA Alleges Kidnap of its Member by PDP

There was pandemonium on Saturday at Ikem, Isi-Uzo local government area of Enugu state as clashes between members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance and the Peoples Democratic Party result in the alleged abduction of a supporter of APGA.
Trouble started when APGA youths confronted some young boys suspected to be supporters of the PDP who were destroying the campaign posters of APGA candidates in the area.
African Examiner reports that the incident is coming barely few hours to the official flag- off of the PDP local government campaign in Isi Uzo, ahead of the November 2nd, 2013 council polls in the state.
APGA flagged off its own campaign on Friday at Eha-Amufu, amids large supporters and crowd, just as it promised to win the November 2 local government election.
Meanwhile, the alleged abducted of APGA supporter, whose name was given as Ogar Ekok, a cocoa farmer from Cross River state is yet to be found as at the time of filling this report.
Members of the party said the matter has since been lodged at both the State Security Service SSS and the Divisional Police offices at Ikem, headquarters of the local government.
