El-Rufai Appoints Non-Indigene, #BringBackOurGirls Campaigner As Chief of Staff
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Monday, June 29th, 2015Ayo Balogun – The Co-Founder of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign, Hadiza Bala-Usman, has been appointed the Chief of Staff (COS) to the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasiru El-rufai.
In a press statement issued Monday by the Governor’s media aide, Samuel Aruwan, El-Rufai has also appointed two other aides, including Bashir Dabo, (Special Assistant on New Media); and Mrs. Amina Saude-Mohammed as the Personal Secretary.
Bala-Usman, a development expert, had served under various committees of the All Progressives Congress at both State and national levels.
El-Rufai COS has also in 2011, contested the House of Representatives under the defunct Congress for Progressives Change (CPC) in Musawa/Matazu Federal constituency, of Katsina State.
The #BringBackOurGirls campaigner had also worked with the Bureau for Public Enterprises and UNDP as well as formerly appointed the Director, an NGO, Good Governance Group.
