Ekwueme Flown Abroad for Treatment
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Sunday, November 12th, 2017(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Nigeria’s former vice president, Dr. Alex Ekwueme, was on Sunday morning flown abroad for medical treatment.
A white air ambulance, with registration number N605 AJ, which flew the elder statesman out of the country, departed the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, around 8.30 am.
The country of destination for the treatment was however not disclosed at the time of filling this report.
Ekwueme was hospitalised for about three weeks at Memphys Hospital of Neurosurgery, Enugu, and it was learnt that doctors advised that he should not be moved abroad for better medical attention./Agency Report
