Ekiti 2014: Fayose in Early Lead As Collation of Result Commences

Results being announced in Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Ekiti State indicate that PDP’s representative, Ayo Fayose is leading with wide margin, while incumbent governor Kayode Fayemi of APC follows. The LP candidate, Opeyemi Bamidele came a distance third in the exercise which ended some hours ago across the state.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ad hoc staffs are now announcing the results of the elections at various polling units and wards across the state.
Fayemi however won in Isan Ekiti: APC157, PDP 1, LP 0.
African Examiner correspondent who monitored the election reports that majority of Fayemi’s commissioners lose their polling unit to PDP. Result form Fayemi’s Deputy Gov polling unit in Ado-ekiti shows that APC polled 75votes while PDP polled 304 votes.
Commissioner for Labour and Productivity,Chief Oluwole Ariyo lost his polling unit;PDP-85,APC-22 and LP-5.
Director General Fayemi Campaign Organization, Bimbo Daramola also lost his Polling Unit in Ire-Ekiti as shown in the result sheet PDP-75 APC-30, LP-1 and APCN 1.
African Examiner gathered that both Fayose and Fayemi won in their polling unit.
