Edo APC Legislator, Usman Aliu Dies Of Strange Ailment

The death has occurred of a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Peter Usman Aliu.

Late Aliu, who is representing Etsako East Edo Constituency was of the State’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). He was reported to have died Monday morning around 8.00 am at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Ugbowo, due to strange ailment.

The Lawmaker was until his death the Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation and Project Monitoring. He was a lawyer and accountant.

His colleagues in the House has since visited his family members at the Legislators’ Quarters, in Benin, the State capital to commiserate on the death.

Hon Aliu’s demise has thrown the State’s legislative house and the state’s APC into mourning and anxiety.
