DSS Doctored Materials Carted Away From Our Office, Says APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the Department of State Security (DSS) of compromising and doctoring the materials carted away from its Data office in Lagos to nail the party and portray it in bad light.

The party also challenged the DSS to explain reason for the over 50 days delay before coming out to address the media on its findings at the Data base centre.

While addressing the media on Sunday at the Data Centre in Ikeja, Lagos, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Alhaji Lai Muhammed said the reason for the invasion of the centre by the DSS few days after it began fresh registration of members was to have clear knowledge of the number of members of the party.

He described the DSS as the professional hacker for doctoring the registration materials of the party, saying there was no way the party could do so since INEC data base is not online.

Muhammed also alleged that the DSS lied by saying it charged the party to court over the issue.

One of the five staff whisked to Abuja by the DSS and System Administrator at the Centre, Esther Enemuwa alleged they were molested and maltreated for days in custody.
